MISSION

The Colusa County Free Library offers more than just books. For more than one hundred years, the County Library has operated as a community resource.

Our mission is to maintain and improve the lives of all county residents by providing access to information and resources to enhance and contribute to individual knowledge and an increased quality of life. To accomplish its mission, the library operates branch locations, in each of Colusa County’s seven communities.

The library fulfills its commitment to the future by providing stimulating materials and programs that encourage patrons to become life-long learners.
