The Board of Supervisors is the duly elected legislative body of Colusa County. The board sets and adopts policies and establishes programs for:

Air quality
Areas of general governance
Economic development
Emergency services and flood management
Health and mental health
Intergovernmental relations, law, and justice
Land use and agriculture
Social services, libraries, and transportation
