As the Sites Reservoir Project continues to move forward through permitting and towards eventual construction and operation, Colusa County is embarking on the preparation of Community Plans for Maxwell, and for the areas surrounding the new Sites Reservoir.

These Community Plans are expected to address key topics such as temporary workforce housing in Maxwell, long-term economic strategies for Maxwell, access to recreational areas around Sites Reservoir, habitat conservation, increases in traffic, and other potential changes to the Maxwell and Sites areas.

The County is very interested in listening to community concerns and gathering community input and ensuring that these Community Plans are developed in a way that best meet the needs of Colusa County residents and businesses.
