Mary Beth Massa Children's Reading Room

The Princeton Branch of the Colusa County Free Library is proud to honor longtime librarian Mary Beth Massa with the dedication of the Children’s Reading Room in her name. For more than 30 years, Mary Beth served the heart of the branch—raising funds to keep its doors open, welcoming generations of families, and ensuring the library remains a lively hub of learning and community connection.

In recognition of Mary Beth’s legacy, the Friends of the Library commissioned a custom hand-painted sign from mural artist Heather Hardison, whose Macro Flora mural brightens the library’s exterior, to mark the newly dedicated space.

We invite the community to visit the Princeton Branch and celebrate both its history and the people who make it thrive.
