Tails & Tales Book Drops

In 2018, local children's book author and artist LK James gave makeovers to the book drops at all seven branch libraries, turning them from drab, faded boxes into reinvigorated and whimsical focal points. 

Painted in memory of Kirk Kelleher, the capricious illustrations have added years of life to our book drops and bring character to each branch of the library. Reading tigers, fish, alligators and bears, OH MY!
