Notice of Availability (NOA) for the Draft Environmental Impact Report (please click here)
The Draft Environmental Impact Report for the Janus Solar and Battery Storage Project has been released and is available for public review and comment.  As detailed in the NOA the Public Review Period is 45-days and begins on September 27, 2024 and now ends on November 13, 2024 to align with the State's 45-day review period end date.  All comments must be received within this time period. Written comments should be submitted to Greg Plucker, Community Development Director, 1213 Market Street, Colusa, CA 95932 or to gplucker@countyofcolusa.com.

Interested individuals, groups, and agencies may provide to the County of Colusa Community Development Department, written comments on topics to be addressed in the EIR for the proposed Project. Comments should be provided no later than 5:00 p.m. on July 31, 2024. Agencies that will need to use the EIR when considering permits or other approvals for the proposed Project should provide the name of a staff contact person. Please send all comments to:

A Public EIR Scoping Meeting will be held on July 11, 2024 beginning at 3:00 pm in the Colusa County Board of Supervisors Chambers located at 546 Jay Street, Suite 108 Colusa, CA 95932.  The purpose of the scoping meeting is to afford an opportunity to receive comments directly from the public agencies, and interested parties, regarding potential environmental impacts of the proposed project, as well as potential mitigation measures and project alternatives.
