COLUSA, CA - September 3, 2025 - Colusa County is reminding all voters about the upcoming Statewide Special Election on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, to vote on Proposition 50: Use of Temporary Legislative Congressional Map by a California Constitutional Amendment. This will be an all-mail ballot election.
Key Voting Information
All active registered voters will automatically receive a vote-by-mail ballot.
Ballots will be mailed no later than Monday, October 6, 2025.
The last day to request a vote-by-mail ballot is Tuesday, October 28, 2025.
Returning Your Ballot
Your ballot must be returned by 8:00 pm on Election Day, November 4, 2025. You can return it in several ways:
By mail: Your ballot must be postmarked by 8:00 pm on Election Day and received no later than November 11, 2025.
In person: Drop off your ballot by 8:00 pm on Election Day at one of the following locations:
The Elections Office: 546 Jay St., Colusa, CA
The Satellite location: Education Village, 499 Margurite St., Williams
The drive-through drop box: The alley behind the Colusa Police Department, 260 6th St., Colusa, CA
Anywhere in California: You can also drop off your ballot in any official drop box or at a polling location in the state.
If you need a replacement ballot, you can get one at the Elections Office located at 546 Jay St., Ste 200, Colusa, CA 95932.
Ballot Counting
The central location for counting all ballots is the Colusa County Registrar of Voters' Office, located at 546 Jay St., Ste 200, Colusa, CA 95932, in the Historic Hall of Records. The processing of ballots will begin on Tuesday, October 6, 2025, and will continue until the official canvass period is complete.
