Traffic Delays Expected at Colusa Weir Bridge This Saturday, October 4th

Colusa County Public Works is alerting residents to planned roadwork this Saturday, October 4th, on the Colusa Weir Bridge. Crews will be installing new support bents on the bridge. To complete this essential structural work, temporary traffic control measures will be in effect, causing intermittent delays.

Traffic Interruption Details

What: Installation of new support bents on the Colusa Weir Bridge

When: Saturday, October 4th 

Impact: Traffic holdbacks of up to 20 minutes at a time

Safety Measure: Collars on the jacks can be locked at any time to allow immediate passage for emergency vehicles

Travel Advisory

Residents are strongly advised to avoid the Colusa Weir Bridge if possible on Saturday, October 4th, and to plan alternate routes to minimize delays.

Those who must use the bridge should budget extra time for their trip and exercise patience and caution in the work zone.
