County Administrative Office

The County Administrative Officer is appointed by the Board of Supervisors. This office recommends and manages the county budget, facilitates the implementation of policies for the Board of Supervisors, analyzes issues and makes recommendations to the Board, represents the county in intergovernmental relationships, coordinates the work of all county departments, and coordinates the overall administration of county government. The County Administrative Officer also serves as the Clerk of the Board, Purchasing Agent and provides direct supervision to several divisions: Risk Management, Purchasing/Procurement, Information Technology, and Building and Maintenance.
