The Colusa, Glenn and Trinity Community Action Partnership (CGTCAP) is conducting a needs assessment to collect data and information about the community and identify the needs or gaps in services provided by our County. Residents are encouraged to share their thoughts about the needs of Colusa County by completing this short survey. Responses help guide the CGTCAP’s Community Action Plan (CAP). This plan outlines the CGTCAP’s strategic approach to addressing the needs of low-income individuals and families throughout our county.
The CAP is guided by the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) and focuses on increasing self-sufficiency through various programs and services, including:
- Emergency Services: Providing assistance with immediate needs like rent, utilities, and food.
- Housing Services: Offering housing counseling, rental assistance, and homeownership programs.
- Income and Employment: Supporting job training, education, and employment placement.
- Community Services and Development: Providing services for seniors, youth, and families, including health and nutrition programs, senior centers, and youth development initiatives
